Celebrating 40 Years of The Italian Orchard

We’re incredibly proud to work with one of Lancashire’s most loved family-owned restaurants, The Italian Orchard, part of the San Marco Group. This summer, our client celebrated a major milestone – 40 years of authentic Italian hospitality – and we were honoured to work alongside them to mark the occasion with a multi-channel campaign.

At the heart of the celebration was a Charity Summer Ball, held on Thursday 5 June at their flagship Broughton restaurant. The event welcomed over 250 guests for an evening of Italian elegance, canapés, fine wines, live music, dancing, and a silent auction – all in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice, who also celebrates 40 years of care in the Lancashire community. The night raised an incredible £11,500 for the charity.

"This is not just a party - it’s a thank you to our customers, our community, and a way to give back to a cause that’s very close to our hearts."

Our Role

As their marketing agency, we developed and delivered a comprehensive omni-channel campaign designed to honour their heritage, engage their audience, and amplify their story.

One of the most meaningful parts of the project was producing a short documentary-style video, capturing interviews with the Bragagnini family and key members of the team. Each person shared personal reflections on The Italian Orchard’s journey – from its beginnings in 1985 to becoming a respected business within the Lancashire community. The result was an authentic and emotional portrait of a business built on its passion, perseverance, and people.

We supported the campaign with:

  • Strategic content planning
  • Social media strategy
  • Video production & photography
  • Event management
  • PR and press outreach
  • Creative collaboration with local artist Eva Darling Designs to create a bespoke artwork for the ball

Honouring a Family Legacy

The Italian Orchard has long been more than just a restaurant – it’s a true family legacy. Founded by Ivan and Louise Bragagnini, and now run with their four sons, the business has grown into a hospitality group spanning multiple venues. Yet, their values remain the same: warm service, quality Italian produce, and a deep connection to their roots in Udine, Northern Italy.

We’re proud to have played a part in this milestone campaign, celebrating four decades of excellence and giving back to a cause that means so much to the family and their community.
