
Between Hemispheres: International Contemporary Female Artist Carla Raads Brings Powerful Seascapes to The Grand Hotel
When artist Carla Raads envisioned bringing her internationally collected seascapes home to Lytham St Annes, we were trusted to bring that vision to life. From the first spark of an idea to the final brushstroke of execution, we worked hand in hand with Carla and The Grand Hotel to launch an immersive exhibition experience that transformed an entire venue – and introduced a hometown artist to a new audience in unforgettable style.
Between Hemispheres isn’t just an exhibition, it’s a six-month living gallery, set within the iconic seafront setting of The Grand Hotel. The collaboration brings together Carla’s South African roots and the soul of the Lytham coastline, filling the hotel’s halls, walls, and shared spaces with emotive, hand-painted oil paintings.

We worked closely with both the Webb family (owners of The Grand Hotel) and Carla Raads to ensure every element of the campaign reflected the emotion, depth, and beauty of the art – and the environment that now houses it.
The campaign launched publicly on Friday 20 June with an open event at The Grand Hotel, inviting the community, the curious, and collectors to explore the space, meet the artist, and experience the work firsthand. With print signings, garden games, and curated artist-led events planned throughout the summer, including a Collectors’ Dinner and creative workshops, this is a campaign that will live, evolve, and connect all season long.
